## Cast your seaside duet

Local storyboard review only. No video is generated and no photos are transmitted.

| Shot | Seconds | Cast | Direction |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | 3 | The one waiting | A quiet seated profile. Calm water, worn wood, no dancing. |
| 2 | 3 | The one waiting | Closer framing. A small turn of the head, an unhurried look. |
| 3 | 3 | The singer | A beach close-up, direct eye contact and a gentle singing gesture. |
| 4 | 2 | The singer | Soft expression and sea breeze. Keep the performance restrained. |
| 5 | 3 | The singer | Waist-up seaside framing. Muted blue water and warm natural skin. |
| 6 | 3 | The one waiting + The singer | Both seated. The singer faces the camera; the partner turns toward them. |
| 7 | 3 | The one waiting + The singer | A brief smile between the two. Natural closeness, no big choreography. |
| 8 | 3 | The singer | Return to the singer. One subtle hand movement, steady framing. |
| 9 | 2 | The one waiting + The singer | A wider composition with both people and the open shoreline. |
| 10 | 3 | The one waiting + The singer | A quiet dusk ending, both looking out toward the water. |

## Where did the Raindance format come from?

Dave and Tems’ Raindance music video was released in January 2026 and filmed in Lagos. The personalized-video format draws on its dock, beach and performance imagery. Creator tutorials show the same scenes recast with different characters. The AI task is keeping those identities and performances coherent across cuts. This site currently offers local storyboard review, with rendering still unavailable.

## Watch the source, then the reinterpretation.

Watch the [Dave and Tems music video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOJpE1KMUbo). [Universal Music’s release announcement](https://www.universalmusic.ca/2026/01/09/dave-shares-official-video-for-raindance-ft-tems/) identifies the artists, date and Lagos setting.

A [creator editing tutorial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWml0nqnbVY) shows original and recast scenes together: the dock, singer close-ups and seaside interaction. These examples explain the format; they do not prove our own rendering quality.

Song, lyrics and film-festival searches are different intents from making an AI clip. Dedicated products already offer variations of the photo workflow. This independent site has no affiliation with the artists or the film festival.

## Before you take the scene.

### What is the Raindance AI trend?

It is a personalized seaside performance format inspired by Dave and Tems’ Raindance music video. A person waits on a wooden dock, another sings toward the lens, and the pair share a beach scene. The appeal is putting your own cast into that familiar moment. Read the [trend guide](https://raindance.dance/raindance-trend).

### Can I use two separate photos?

Yes, this preview lets you choose two local portraits and assign the waiting and singing roles. You can swap those roles before reviewing the storyboard. It does not send the photos to a provider or generate a video yet.

### What happens when I review my video plan?

You see your chosen portraits beside each scene’s directions and can save a JSON storyboard. The photos stay in this browser tab and are cleared when you leave. This review does not animate the photos, replace faces or measure likeness.

### Is the Raindance song included?

No artist recording or vocals are included. The planned video is silent. Add an available Raindance sound inside your publishing app when your account and intended use permit it.

### How long is the video?

Our current storyboard draft totals 28 seconds across ten shots in a planned 4:3 frame. These are design targets, not a completed video or a promise of exact synchronization with the song.

### Can I generate or buy a video now?

No. Cast selection and storyboard review work locally. Dedicated video rendering and checkout are unavailable, so nothing is charged. We will show real examples and a confirmed price after the rendering workflow is tested.
